The AstroCan X Config Display is a touchscreen on the droid itself: live status at a glance, a set of quick actions within reach and the existing sequences — without reaching for a phone or a laptop. It plugs into the socket labeled “Display” on the Core board — a serial link to the Master — and therefore works without WiFi.
The Master stays in charge: the display sends requests and shows what comes back, it does not drive the droid on its own. The browser interface stays the complete tool — sequence editor, module management, fleet firmware updates, and backup and restore all live there.

Two panel sizes
The Config Display comes on two boards that differ only in screen size:

Both have the same resolution. The pages look identical on either board; the larger panel just shows them bigger. Which board you fit is a question of space in the droid, not of function.
Each size has its own firmware profile: configdisplay for the 4.3-inch board and configdisplay70 for the 7-inch board. The profile has to match the board — pin mapping and touch calibration differ, so the wrong profile gives a screen that looks right but reacts in the wrong place (the touch lands next to where you tap). In the firmware flasher the 4.3-inch board is listed as Config Display 4.3.
Both boards are standard, off-the-shelf Sunton displays. You buy them yourself from the usual online shops — Amazon, eBay, AliExpress and the like. They are not sold by Printed Droid.
The screens
A fixed bar along the bottom switches between six pages: Dash, Actions, System, Seq, Links and Service. The images below are mockups at the real 800×480 resolution — they show the layout and labels with example values.
