The AstroMag is an extension for the “Fused 12 Wire Slipring Interface.”
It can be installed inside the dome to enable easier disconnection.
On the input side, the slipring’s DB15 connector is connected.
The input board provides access to the four signal lines and the power line via screw terminals.
These connections are also available on the magnetic board.
Thanks to this setup, the dome can be quickly removed without having to manually disconnect any wiring.
